About this grant
The Diverse Australia Program (DAP) and National Action Plan to Build on Social Cohesion, Harmony and Security (NAP) small community grants, provide funds of up to $5000 for community organisations to run small scale activities and projects aimed at building stronger community relations in their local area.
Who is eligible
Funds will only be provided to small incorporated not for profit community organisations with an operating budget of less than $200 000 per year. Proof of incorporation will be required.

How to apply
The 2009 community grants funding round is now closed with more than 290 applications received. Many strong applications proposing interesting project activities were submitted with 64 being selected for funding.
We thank all who expressed interest in our program and hope you will continue to support our activities in future funding rounds.

The successful 2009 grants have been announced by the Parliamentary Secretary.

Feedback for applicants in the 2009 round
Feedback is now available for small grants applications for the 2009 funding round. It provides applicants with information on the assessment process and feedback on the main strengths and weaknesses of applications.
