Previous Projects

Emerging Issues Funding

Emerging Issues Funding (EIF) replaces the previous Emerging Priorities and Partnership funding initiatives. Some projects under these initiatives may be continuing under the management of EIF.

EIF funds projects that respond to significant issues that arise outside the annual funding round. The funding supports regional and national projects involving community-based activities. These activities positively influence attitudes towards racial, cultural and religious difference and strengthen social cohesion, community harmony and cross-cultural understanding.

Partnerships Projects

The previous Partnerships program sought to establish collaborative relationships and projects between the department and key organisations. These projects had the capacity to work on a regional or national scale and to address widespread, systemic and strategic issues of intolerance.

Ad Hoc Projects

Previous Ad Hoc discretionary grants were used to support projects responding to significant emerging issues occurring outside the annual community project funding rounds.
