This project challenges the mainstream stereotype of the Australian surf lifesaver by conducting Junior Surf Lifesaving activities at two remote locations-Thursday Island and the Yarrabah Indigenous Community. The target audience are youth aged between 7 and 18 years and the activities are participation in surf sports and the gaining of lifesaving skills.
