Provide local ethnic communities in the Newcastle and Hunter Valley region with the knowledge to work with the media in news item representation. Members from communities will work with a leading journalist for one workshop and then with each other in acquiring strategies to provide information to the media of issues of concern without creating inaccuracies or stereotypes.
