This project created a positive forum for Indigenous story-tellers to share their stories and life experiences with kindergarten and pre-school children and their parents. A bilingual approach was used where possible. Entertaining 'hands-on' activities encouraged interaction between participants, thus developing a friendly and relaxed familiarisation between them. A video of the story-telling sessions was produced as a future teaching resource.

Note: The library received an award in 2006 for contributing to reconciliation, under the WA Government’s Partnership, acceptance, learning and sharing (PALS) program. The storytelling program continues to share stories with local children.
