The project seeks to address prejudice and racism in Townsville. The proposal is to use Australian Rules football to link the Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities together by providing training for parents to be able to contribute to managing sporting teams and competitions. The media and high profile AFL players will be used to promote community harmony.
