The project encourages mutual understanding and respect by creating an opportunity for social and cultural exchanges amongst youth, the elderly, Indigenous people and other cultural groups (including Muslims) in the Bega and South Coast region. The project will facilitate workshops in dance, storytelling, painting and music. It will also incorporate two way exchange between the generations, with Elders visiting schools and school children visiting aged care facilities. All of these activities will encourage discussion between different community groups across a range of backgrounds and ages. A video will be produced to document the project.
