The project aims to address new issues arising in the Hunter Region with the arrival of Sudanese migrants in the community over the past few years. By developing Sudanese community ambassadors to provide insight to the community and developing a school resource through the provision of a competition, community harmony and cultural understanding will develop. This project aims to work in a State school cluster (45 schools) and 10 private schools. Community organisations will also take part to engender attitudinal change.
