The project seeks to address racist and discriminatory views held by older people in Bathurst. The proposed program will be the conception of a supervised movie discussion group targeting older persons, in which participants will gather weekly to discuss the portrayal of race, religion and culture in popular film. In addition, there will be a five-minute video filmed about older people's perceptions of discrimination in the community shown at a public event on Harmony Day 2005.
