Community conversation sessions will focus on building cross-cultural understanding and breaking down distrust between recently arrived African communities and the majority community in south-west Brisbane. The community conversations will build relationships between African people and long-term residents. From these sessions voluntary working groups, reflecting the community mix, will be recruited and supported to become self-directed in working to promote ongoing positive community relations. |
