About the Organisation:

The Geelong Ethnic Communities Council is a service and advocacy body for ethnic communities. It is committed to ensuring that all culturally and linguistically diverse communities, and profoundly disadvantaged sectors of the general community, have equal access to government services, programs and resources. The Council provides opportunities for local migrant communities to enjoy and preserve their own heritage, overcome disadvantage and maintain their cultures within the broader context of Australian society.
