Project Summary:

The project aims to raise awareness amongst students at the University of Western Australia of issues around cultural diversity, racism and community harmony. It will utilise experiential and values based exercises, within a race 'privilege' framework, designed to promote a deeper, active and more sustained engagement with the issues. Activities for four groups of students from the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Trinity College and St George's College will include extra-curricula lectures, workshops and a student presentation competition. A racism and diversity manual will be created and promoted.
