Project Summary:

This project will run an education program to engage Asian women working in low paid employment.  The group of women will participate in forums and workshops with members of mainstream organisations such as local sporting, social service, and volunteer organisations. Participants will also be able to meet decision makers from all levels of government to discuss key issues of concern. This project will involve people sharing their ideas, concerns and knowledge with each other. The wider Chinese, Vietnamese and mainstream communities will be exposed to the project through ethnic and community newspaper articles as well as monthly translated newsletters to other Asian women peers within their organisation on local community radio.
