Project Summary:

The Warrane Neighbourhood House is located on the Eastern Shore of Hobart, and is currently experiencing an influx of recently arrived refugees from Africa settling in the area.  These communities often are unable to fully participate and engage with the local community due to a lack of cultural understanding about Australian life. 

The project will offer a range of neighbourhood house programs including classes in cooking, computing and craft as a way of bringing newly arrived people together with the local community
