SES members come from a wide variety of background and beliefs including Christian, Jewish and Buddhist.  The project seeks to inspire local residents from various backgrounds to embrace Australian values such as volunteering and participation. 

This project seeks to involve people from different backgrounds to engage in rescue activities in difficult circumstances to develop respect and trust by encouraging participation.
