Successful applicants for the third round of Living in Harmony grants were announced on 3 November 2002. Forty-two grants were awarded from 464 applications, totalling some $1.5 million.

2001
Successful applicants for the second round of Living in Harmony grants were announced on 28 September 2001. Thirty-seven grants were awarded from more than 200 applications, totalling $1.5 million. The grants ranged from $5,000 to $50,000 in value.

1999
Successful applicants for the first round of Living in Harmony grants were announced on 17 March and 12 May, 1999. One hundred grants were awarded from more than 700 applications, totalling just over $5 million.
The projects covered a wide variety of organisations and approaches to tackling community relations issues. They involved Indigenous, ethnic, religious, sporting, educational and mainstream community organisations working within their own spheres to establish and maintain mutual understanding between groups of people with differing backgrounds, beliefs and cultures.
