Event Welcome Stranger Creatures workshop for Kids

Here at The Mustard Seed we love to celebrate cultural diversity and we want our kids to know they are rad and they belong. So we have decided in honor of Harmony Day this year we will be hosting a Welcome Stranger Creations Workshop.

In the workshop, kids will be using a variety of mixed media and recycled material to create their own Welcome Stranger Creation, inspired by Melbourne artist, Dean Bowen (artwork above).

This workshop is designed for primary school aged kids. Please ensure kids wear old clothes that can get a splash or two of paint.

We will have some cool refreshments and some tasty snacks to keep the creative juices flowing. For all the caregivers, we have comfy couches and tea and coffee facilities for you to sit and relax.

Looking forward to celebrating Harmony Day with you and creating some Welcome Stranger creations with you!
