Singing for Harmony
​Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre
​Led by Mara and Llew Kiek, the two days will conclude with a small showcase of the music learnt over the weekend. This showcase will be free for family and friends to attend. Participants will learn singing techniques as well as choral music from Eastern Europe with a particular focus on the rich culture of the Balkans. Open to individuals as well as choirs, a joy of singing and a willingness to learn is all you need. The ability to read music is helpful but not essential. The two day workshop is suitable for teens and up.

The main goal is to bring the Grampians multicultural community together. The Harmony Festival: A world on a plate: Taste, explore, connect is a free community event showcasing food, live music, and dancing, from diverse cultures. Expect a lot of fun with dance and music presented by the Filipino, Thailand, Timor-Lest, Vanuatu, Sudan, Peru and Chile Countries with Zumba and salsa sessions. Taste delicious food from over 10 countries including Canadian, Brazilian, Fijian, Japanese, Thailand, Peru, Vanuantuan, Timorese and many more! Chat with people from the Stawell Community Garden, Pioneers Soccer Club, and the community playgroup that are running Harmony Week theme craft activities for children.
